چکیده

A Nozzle is a mechanical device that uses pressure energy and fluid enthalpy to increase the outflow velocity control flow direction. To obtain nozzle duct's shock pattern, inside must be supersonic with Mach number greater than one. Experimentally, pattern obtained for 2 ratio (NPR) equivalent 7 below. For M = 2, needed NPR equal 7.82 correct expansion.. When 7.82, from nozzles under-expanded. less 7.72 over-expanded. In this paper, computational mechanics (CFD) technique was used simulate based on experimental investigation. two-dimensional transient compressible of air through simulated using ANSYS fluent software. time-dependent density-based implicit solver useds analyze simulation results. The results illustrate CFD simulates flows formation in duct gives useful information about dynamics analysis.

Transonic Potential Flows in A Convergent–Divergent Approximate Nozzle

In this paper we prove existence, uniqueness and regularity of certain perturbed (subsonic–supersonic) transonic potential flows in a two-dimensional Riemannian manifold with “convergent–divergent” metric, which is an approximate model of the de Laval nozzle in aerodynamics. The result indicates that transonic flows obtained by quasi-one-dimensional flow model in fluid dynamics are stable with ...

Computational Analysis of Shockwave in Convergent Divergent Nozzle

The objective of this paper is to computationally analyse shock waves in the Convergent Divergent (CD) Nozzle. The commercial CFD code Fluent is employed to analyse the compressible flow through the nozzle. The analysis includes static pressure, temperature, Mach number and density of the flow for different nozzle pressure ratios (NPR i.e., the ratio between exit pressure of the nozzle to ambie...

Numerical simulation of turbulent compressible flows in a C-D nozzle with different divergence angles

Compressible gas flow inside a convergent-divergent nozzle and its exhaust plume atdifferent nozzle pressure ratios (NPR) have been numerically studied with severalturbulence models. The numerical results reveal that, the SST k–ω model give the bestresults compared with other models in time and accuracy. The effect of changes in value ofdivergence half-angle (ε ) on the nozzle performance, thru...
